Our customers often need a boiler repair service if their boiler’s making a whistling, whooshing, banging, popping or other similar noise. Noises may be caused by a build-up of limescale or other substance on the heat exchanger, or by loose objects vibrating in the boiler. A boiler repair by BHE can clean up your boiler and remove the worrying noise!

A leaking boiler requires a boiler repair. It may be caused by, or a leak could cause, corroded pipes, loose joints, high water pressure or other problems in your heating system and may be the result of a poor boiler installation. There may alternatively be a problem with your expansion tank. If you’re collecting water under the boiler, we strongly recommend a professional boiler repair.

  • Open all doors and windows
  • Shut off the gas supply at the meter control valve, if you know where it is
  • Turn the appliance off and do not touch it until it’s been checked by a Gas Safe Registered engineer
