Running from the 8th - 14th September, BHE and our sister company, RJ Martindale are proud to support Gas Safety Week 2025, highlighting the importance of staying safe with gas appliances, such as gas boilers and gas fires.

BHE has been dedicated to promoting gas safety for over 50 years. This year's Gas Safety Week theme of "looking after your home, friends and family," is a value that sits at the heart of our business, keeping our local communities safe in Wigan, Leigh, Lancaster, Morecambe and beyond.

FREE boiler services for 10 over-75 year olds this Gas Safety Week 

Once again, this year BHE and our sister company RJ Martindale are offering 10 FREE gas boiler services to those aged 75 and over, each worth £96. 

Nominate yourself, a relative or a neighbour to be in with a chance of receiving a FREE boiler service this autumn from your local, Gas Safe Registered engineers at BHE or RJ Martindale. The property needs to be located in:

• Wigan
• Leigh
• Lancaster
• Morecambe
• Bolton
• Horwich
• Chorley
• Preston

Our expert engineers will arrange a visit to carry out a thorough boiler service, making sure that the appliance is safe and in good working order.

• Fit a carbon monoxide alarm to alert you if there is a carbon monoxide leak in your home.
